Official title: To direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Venezuela that have not been authorized by Congress.

What this does

This resolution would have directed the President to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Venezuela, unless those hostilities were explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or a specific statutory authorization for use of military force. It invoked section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution as the mechanism for that direction. The House rejected it 211 to 213, so it did not take effect and no removal was directed.
