Adams Memorial-Great American Heroes Act

What this does

The Act reauthorizes the Adams Memorial Commission, extending its authority from 2025 to 2032. It also extends the deadline to establish the Adams Memorial commemorative work from 2025 to 2032. It sets the memorial's location within an area mapped by the Commission on February 25, 2025, and directs that the work be placed within the Reserve if that area is not suitable or feasible. To permit those sites, the Act overrides the standing bar in section 8908(c) of title 40 on placing new commemorative works in the Reserve. It repeals two superseded provisions of Public Law 107-315 as conforming amendments.
