What this does
Congress reauthorizes two vector-borne disease programs under the Public Health Service Act through 2030. It extends the authorization of appropriations for the national strategy and regional centers of excellence in vector-borne disease from the 2021 through 2025 window to 2026 through 2030. It makes the same extension for the program that provides enhanced support to state and local health departments addressing vector-borne diseases.
