Rural Small Business Resilience Act

What this does

This bill directs the Small Business Administration to make sure people in rural areas get full access to federal disaster assistance. Within one year of enactment, the Administrator must have the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience take the steps needed so that individuals in rural areas covered by a disaster declaration can reach the aid available under section 7(b) of the Small Business Act. That includes targeted outreach and marketing materials aimed at those individuals. A separate section fixes a numbering error in the statute, redesignating a duplicate paragraph (16) about the statute of limitations as paragraph (17).
