Official title: To remove restrictions from a parcel of land in Paducah, Kentucky.
What this does
The bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to remove the deed restrictions on a roughly 3.62-acre parcel at 2956 Park Avenue in Paducah, Kentucky, part of the former Paducah Memorial Army Reserve Center, that were placed on a 2012 quitclaim deed conveying the land to the City of Paducah. In removing those restrictions, the Secretary must reserve new conditions in their place: the City may not transfer or sell the parcel to anyone except the Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club of Paducah, and if the City does transfer it to the Club, the Club must first offer to convey the parcel back to the Secretary at no cost before conveying it to any other entity. Any new use of the parcel must remain compatible with public use or recreation.
